Hello! My name is Louis McDaniel, I'm a naturalist, guide, and lifelong outdoor enthusiast. I currently work for the Appalachian Mountain Club, delivering presentations on the natural and cultural history of the Hudson Valley region, hiker safety, wildlife, and environmental stewardship.

 

My aim is to protect and improve our natural resources, restore biodiversity to disturbed sites, and promote public education about environmental stewardship & our local ecology.
